Though I’d done Whale and Granite before (earlier this year), I’d wanted to repeat all 17 peaks I had done previous to discovering the San Diego County peak list. Anna and I drove out early Saturday morning and were able to nail both Whale and Granite in a long day, followed by Sombrero and False Sombrero in a short day.
