One of the tougher single peak outings in San Diego County, this was my 2nd time up Indianhead Peak this year, and this trip marked Anna’s 50th San Diego County peak. We enjoyed the steep climbing, reddish rock, and excellent views. We ascended the SE ridge and came down the SW slopes, descending through beautiful Borrego Palm Canyon, seeing bats, frogs, and huge palm trees along the way.
