Continuing with the SDC peak list, we decided to clean up the remaining peaks we had left south of the 8. We hiked Lawson + Gaskill first, then drove up Los Pinos, hiked to the summit of Corte Madera, and finished Morena Butte just before dark, clocking in a 17 mile but not too strenuous day. The combination of the views, the scrambling on Lawson/Gaskill, the huge rock face on Corte Madera, and an amazing sunset from Morena Butte made this one of my favorite days working on the SDC list.
