Back on the road…partly cleaning things up on my list that I’d missed on previous trips. Highlights inlcuded finding the oldest summit register (1950) I’ve found on Pilot Peak, and backpacking the Gila Wilderness and Jordan Hot Springs in New Mexico. I also made a tough snowy ascent of Baldy Peak in Arizona, one of the most isolated peaks in the country (distance to the next higher peak).
