Phil Stinis and I spent midday Friday through Sunday afternoon around southern Kern County rounding up HPS peaks over Memorial Day weekend. Other than Eagle’s Rest (the highlight of the bunch), most were rather easy, so we took our time with coffee in the mornings and a few beers in the evenings. Even with our slacker schedule we were still able to tag 12 peaks:

Friday – Pinos, Sawmill, Grouse, Cerro Noroeste, San Emigdio, Brush

Saturday – Antimony, Eagle’s Rest, Frazier

Sunday – Lockwood, San Guillermo, Tecuya
