Turning my attention again to the SDC peak list, I hiked 3 high points on Split Mountain in Anza Borrego on Saturday, and took a stroll through Sandstone Canyon to get to a seldom-visited benchmark, Diablo BM, on Sunday. My friend Matt joined me for one of the Split Mountain high points, and kept me company while camping Saturday night. Despite strong wind on Sunday, it was a much-needed eventful weekend.
