With 2/3rds of its land being mountainous, Idaho is a much underrated state for outdoor fun. I had a quick trip in 2015 to climb it’s high point, Mt. Borah, but returned for a lengthier visit and sampled a bit of everything – The Seven Devil’s Wilderness, hot springs, The Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness (largest roadless area in the Continental US), and hiked in a few different mountain ranges – the Beaverheads, the Cabinets, the Sawtooths, the Albions, the Selkirks.
