Summits: 1380

Idaho

With 2/3rds of the state being mountainous, Idaho is seriously underrated for outdoor fun. I had a quick trip in 2015 to climb it’s high point, Mt. Borah, and have returned several times since. I’ve spent time exploring the Seven Devil’s Wilderness, numerous hot springs, The Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness (largest roadless area in the Continental US), and hiked dozens of summits in different ranges around the state – the Beaverheads, the Cabinets, the Sawtooths, White Clouds, the Albions, and the Selkirks. The Lick Creek range is one of my favorites in the country. A lifetime could be spent just exploring Idaho…
