I’ve been looking forward to this road trip for some time now. Even with all the time I’ve spent in unique places around the globe, road-tripping the USA ranks with the best. I expect to be out until the end of 2020, and started off with some great outings in the great state of Calfornia. First some much needed time in the Sierra, followed by the amazing and one of my favorite places of all time, The Lost Coast. Some hiking in the Trinity Alps and relaxed days doing easy hikes and bike rides around the Redwoods, this particular time spent in NorCal left a lasting impression on me. Something tells me I’ll be settling closer to this area when the time comes…

18-Jul Granite Peak (Trinity Alps)
19-Jul Russian Peak (Trinity Alps) drive to Redwoods NP, meet w/Phil Stinis
20-Jul Redwoods NP: Fern canyon, Klamath, False Klamath, Damnnation Creek
21-Jul Redwoods NP: Enderts Beach, Battery Point, Stout Grove, drive to Oregon
