Another trip to Anza Borrego, this time I had the pleasure of showing some of my favorite places to Hilary… we visited the Salton Sea, hiked a classic slot canyon, checked out some pictographs near Piedras Grandes and Carrizo Gorge, soaked in the thermal pool at Agua Caliente (and had a bighorn sheep sighting here!), and searched for (and found!) the elusive Solstice Cave, a Native American archaeological site with pictographs and ties to the summer solstice…
