I visited Moldova as part of a massive road trip with friends Jacob Kallman and Alan Buxbaum. The poorest country in Europe, the poverty was very real. The capital Chisinau had a nice downtown area and great food. Upon leaving Chisinau, we were pulled over by the police  for no reason and forced to pay a bribe to avoid prison. We’d read about the corrupt police here before we arrived so we knew it could happen, but it was still an “experience”. I had trouble finding much to take pictures of outside of the capital but the trip was still worth the effort, and the bribe.
