The first 10 photos are from the only real “vacationy” part of our Southeast Asian trip in 2014, where my then girlfriend and I spent a week between the islands of Ko Samui and Ko Pha Ngan. We rented motorbikes to explore the islands, ate amazing food, drank cheap beer, and relaxed by the beautiful beaches.

The remaining photos are from my second trip to Thailand, part of my 5 month Asia cycling tour. I crossed into Thailand from Laos near Chiang Rai via the Mekong River, and cycled to Malaysia, with the following notable stops: Chiang Mai (+Pai), Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Khao Sam Roit Yot Ntnl Park, Surin Islands, Krabi. I exited by boat to Malaysia via Langkawi Island.  My bicycle had broken a wheel in Laos, so I bussed most of the way from the border to Chiang Mai where I got a replacement. My girlfriend met me in Laos and traveled with me as far as Chiang Mai.
