Anza Borrego in late May? I never thought this would be possible, but some fortunate cloud cover kept the temps at bay. I repeated a hike of Pinyon Ridge after a friend had mentioned how this was one of his favorite hikes in the area, and what a wonderful hike it is. The following day I sought out something new, making a quick jaunt to tag survery marker Rego BM, followed by a successful search for a native American village site. Deep morteros, lots of pottery, and pictographs. Stoked!
