Overlooking Borrego Springs in the Anzo Borrego desert, I was first attracted to Indianhead Peak when I read its description, “there is no easy way to the summit.” The excellent views and high quality scrambling took our minds off the many cactus induced cuts and pricks. We descended the “normal” route, finishing with a mellow and much-deserved stroll through Palm Canyon.
